Sydney-siders Steph and Blake travelled up to Bouddi National Park for their amazing engagement session, what an afternoon!! These two were so easy and fun to capture. I feel like we have been waiting for such a long time for this engagement session and the day finally arrived, even though the forecast was rain we went ahead without fingers and toes crossed and it turned out to be a beautiful warm afternoon.
From the moment I met Jess + Anthony, I knew they were going to be an awesome couple to work with!! We sat down at a local cafe last winter and we chatted through their wedding day plans, less than 24 hours after that meeting, I received the most beautiful message asking if I would be their photographer - I was over the moon, needless to say, I have waited a whole year to shoot their engagement session!!!
Sydney siders, Ashleigh + Luke picked Norah Head as the perfect spot to spend the afternoon getting some engagement photos. They both love the beach so it was a natural choice to have their session beside the ocean. Travelling from Sydney, dressed beautifully, a little nervous but excited to get some photos - I knew it was going to be a fantastic session!
Fran + Jason decided Caves Beach was the perfect spot for their session after seeing Jess + Malvin's winter engagement session from last year. They travelled from Sydney, beautifully dressed, a little nervous but ready to have some fun. We were only about 10 minutes into the session when dark clouds started to roll in and rain quickly followed. We continued our shoot, made the most of the incredible caves as the beach started to clear.
Allana + Joel's engagement session was a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon! These two lovers were such an easy couple to photograph, their chemistry was obvious from the moment they arrived! I'm so glad we didn't let a little bit of wind stop us... it ended up being an absolutely gorgeous winter session!
I had so much fun exploring Morpeth with Lana + Mitch for their engagement session! Morpeth is one of my favourite places to visit, I mean how lucky are we to have such a sweet little township to explore! Beautiful sandstone buildings, cobbled paths and some gorgeous old doors... a photographer's dream!
That moment when you realise you have so many amazing images from a session that you can not possibly cull them down into a reasonably sized gallery that wouldn't take 2 hours to look through! Well... this is exactly what happen with Zak & Hayley's engagement session. I roped in three friends who all have a keen eye for detail to go through and eliminate any that should be left on the cutting room floor, needless to say, I wasn't the only one who loved every image!
These two are seriously the sweetest!
Rain threatened their engagement session all day but they were willing to take the chance, umbrellas and all. I sat in my car 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time with a storm and lightening rolling overhead. Then all of a sudden a patch of blue sky appeared and just like that... the storm was gone! The streets were a muddy wet mess but that didn't dampen our spirits!
