DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes absolutely! For locations such as Newcastle, Central Coast and the Hunter Valley, there are no additional travel fees as we include up to 80km travel from Newcastle per booking. For all destination weddings or locations further out a travel fee will apply. Over 1 hour $250 - over 2 hours travel will incur an overnight fee of $500.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?

We strive for quality over quantity, however, we will typically deliver between 60-80 fully edited images per hour of wedding coverage including colour and black and white.

WHAT ABOUT FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHO ENJOY PHOTOGRAPHY?

We encourage our clients to consider this carefully as electronic devices have been known to ruin wedding photos of the most important moments such as the bride making her way down the aisle. It can also be distracting for the wedding party and could potentially cause people to look in all different directions. For this reason, guests are not allowed to attend bridal portraits but rather will be asked to enjoy the cocktail hour. Remember, at the end of the day you are paying a professional photographer to capture the photographs you want.

DO YOU RETOUCH AND EDIT OUR PHOTOS?

Yes of course but minimally. As you've seen in my portfolio, we prefer to remain as natural as possible. We do not do any extensive editing such as body contouring, or wrinkle removing etc.

WHEN WILL OUR PHOTO + FILMS BE DELIVERED?

Our standard turnaround for your wedding gallery is roughly 3-5 weeks but can be up to 8 weeks during peek wedding season.

CAN WE CHOOSE THE MUSIC USED FOR OUR FILM?

All of our packages include fully licensed music, unfortunately that means we can not legally license your favourite song from the radio due to Australia copyright laws. We use a full service licensing platform which provides a highly curated selection of songs for filmmakers to use in media projects. We are experienced in selecting the best music to suit your story and can guide you through the process.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?

It is a great idea to book as early as you can! Most photographers and videographers start booking dates 10-14 months in advance and we only take a maximum number of wedding booking per year.

CAN WE DOWNGRADE OR UPGRADE OUR PACKAGE?

Once you have secured us for your wedding day you may upgrade your package and add additional items but you may not downgrade the package to one of lesser value.

MAY WE POST PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

We love when people want to show off their photos! We simply ask that no DIY editing or filters be applied to any of our images. 

WHEN CAN WE SCHEDULE OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

We believe they are so important we have added them as complimentary to some of our packages. Sessions are held on Saturday and Sunday afternoons 3 or so months prior to your wedding. Note: weekdays are available by appointment only and there will be an additional $50 fee for all sessions that take place between Mon-Fri. E-sessions take place between Nelson Bay and the Central Coast other locations which exceed one hour of Newcastle will encur an additional fee based on distance.

COULD WE MEET FOR A CONSULT?

We'd love to! We love coffee so if you are free on a Saturday or Sunday morning we can arrange to catch up at a local cafe and talk all things wedding.

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK MY WEDDING?

A signed contract, completion of our booking form and a 30% non-refundable retainer will hold your spot on my calendar. The final payment is due one month prior to your wedding. Payments can be made via direct debit or credit card. 

WE LOVE YOUR WORK! HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?

Great! The next step is to select the perfect collection for you and set you up on our CRM system. You’ll simply sign a contract, pay your non-refundable retainer fee (30%) and complete our booking form. At that point, we’ll officially welcome you to the RLP Family!

Quick note: we do ask that your main wedding venue and wedding date be secured prior to booking us.

Please understand, we can not 'pencil in' any wedding dates as we like to be fair to all couples and can not turn away enquires for the same date if you are not officially booked.
